** Early tear-down is NOT allowed. Exhibitors who choose to begin tear down prior to 12:00 pm on March 6 risk being banned from participating in NOMS 2025. **

What will our space consist of?

Each exhibitor in the showcase will be provided with a 6’.6” wide x 8’ high kiosk with a 39” wide x 18” deep shelf and storage. Company names will be included in the top curved area above the shelved section. The pavilion will be carpeted in its entirety.  One (1) electrical outlet is provided to each exhibitor (bring a power bar if you require additional outlets). WIFI is NOT included. Two chairs will be provided per booth.  Additional chairs and wifi can be purchase at the time of registration and payment.

We also produce posters for each new exhibitor (we will be re-using posters from previous years for companies that have participated in the showcase in the past, those who would like a new poster can request one at an additional charge at the time of registration and payment) which will go in the display area above the shelf in the graphic pictured here. Please forward a high resolution image of your choice (product, equipment, etc.) that you would like featured on your poster by the submission deadline.

Is wireless internet (wi-fi) included?

A laptop station will be available within the showcase pavilion should you need to connect to the internet; however, wireless is not included as part of your exhibitor fee. Wi-fi can be purchased at time of registration.

Will we have access to power for laptops or tvs?

Yes power is provided. One (1) regular electrical plug per exhibitor. Note that outlets will only support standard use therefore TVs and laptops are fine, but special power requirements cannot be accommodated. Keep in mind that if you plan to bring a TV, the shelf provided measures 39” wide x 18” deep, so be sure to bring an appropriate size.

What should I bring?

You are responsible for bringing your promotional material, including brochures, profile sheets, business cards, etc.

We recommend that you bring a roll-up display. The measurements of the area of the kiosk which can accommodate a roll-up banner are as follows: 8’ High x 39” Wide.

You may also wish to bring a small flat screen or laptop to play videos or access graphics etc.  which can be placed on the shelf on your kiosk.  Note that wifi is not included however can be purchased at an additional charge at the time of registration and payment.

Does my registration to the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase include badges that give me access to PDAC?

Yes. As an exhibitor, you will receive one (1) generic All Access PDAC Conference badge which provides access to PDAC conference presentations and seminars as well as the trade show floor in both the north and south halls as well as the investors exchange.  Note that the Generic badge does not have a name on it (individual or company) and can be shared.  You will also receive two (2) PDAC exhibitor badges which grant you access to the exhibit floor in both the South Hall and North Hall as well as the investors exchange.

I have received a registration notice from PDAC. Do I need to register separately if I’m exhibiting in the Northern Showcase?

No you do not need to register directly with PDAC. As an exhibitor in the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase you already have two exhibitor badges and an all-access conference badge. If you have more than three individuals attending the show, additional badges can be purchased.

Is there a block of hotel rooms reserved for event participants?

Two room blocks have been reserved for NOMS 2024.  Scroll down for details. Delegates are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation.

Space is limited, so please be respectful of other exhibitors and limit the number of rooms you secure per company.

Is there a discounted rate available for flights?

To be determined – however delegates are responsible for booking and paying for their own flights.

Will companies participating in the showcase be provided with promotional materials to send to clients and contacts inviting them to attend the event?

Yes. Invitations will be emailed in advance to all partners. A media guide with instructions, tools and resources to assist with social media promotion with also be provided.

What efforts will be made to attract attendees to the Northern Showcase pavilion?

A variety of tactics will be utilized to attract attendees, including pre-show invitations, social media, the use of an on-site promotional team, media relations, free coffee, a speaker series etc.

Can I cancel my registration?

Yes you can cancel your registration. Please advise the NOMS coordinator asap if you need to cancel to allow enough time to inform companies on the waiting list about the availability. The cancellation policy is as follows.

2024 Cancellation Policy*

 A full refund of the payment will be issued upon receipt of a written request for cancellation prior to December 31, 2023. A full refund less a 25% administration will be issued upon receipt of a written request for cancellation prior to January 15, 2024. For cancellations received in writing between January 15, 2024 and February 15, 2024 a full refund less a 50% administration fee will be issued. After  February 15, 2024 no refunds will be made and Exhibitors are responsible for the full rental fee plus HST. All Northern Ontario Showcase 2024 canceled booth spaces will be resold and the registered company will have priority renewal of that booth space for 2025.

*A full refund will be issued in the event that PDAC 2024 is canceled.

Will the City of Temiskaming Shores be hosting Northern Ontario Night at the Steam Whistle Brewery again in 2024?

Yes! Northern Ontario Night will be hosted on March 4, 2024 at the Steam Whistle Brewery. Exhibitors will be provided with a limited number of invitations to this not to be missed hospitality event. Additional tickets are available to any business or organization that opts to sponsor the event. Please note that this event does not receive any funding and is completely dependent on sponsors. Are there requirements related to Covid-19 that we must adhere to?

YES!

You must review and adhere to all requirements for participating in events at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to participate in the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase 2024.
